Oh, God! Please not my little Lukuru . . . . I don’t know how strictly you adhere to how we earmark our donations, but please, PLEASE make my March 27th donation go to fight this epidemic rather than to the release project as designated. I will donate more later for the release project — I promise. In the meantime, another donation. If I’m going to be up to my ears in credit card debt, at least I’ll know that it went for something much more worthwhile than a new television.

I’m helping Vanessa by posting to her blog while she’s at Lola, and my heart stopped when I read about Lukuru. They don’t always have a stable Internet connection but I promise to post an update as soon as Vanessa sends one.
We’ll have to direct all our positive energies at our little baby girl, Sherri S.

I’m so sorry this is happening and my heart, thoughts and prayers go out to everyone at Lola that this bug is purged and that no more bonobos are lost. I will be able to help financially in a few days.

Like everyone else my heart is breaking. I wish I could win the lottery and send you millions of dollars, but I hope my small donation can help. I am so worried about Lukuru and my Lomela and all the nursery babies. All of the bonobos and caregivers are in my prayers. Peace, blessings, love and hugs to all. Lynn
